Changes within make up of the Trust Board

In July, Trustees received advice from the Trust Chair - Peter Reweti that due to personal circumstances he would be stepping down from the Chair position.

To ensure continuation of business and following on from a one-on-one discussion, he also informed that the Deputy Chair - Anaru had agreed to be the Acting Chair until the next meeting of the Board, at which time a new permanent incumbent could be appointed.

At Monday's August Trust Board meeting elections took place for both the Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson positions on the Board.

Nominations were put, with the position of Chairperson now being upheld by the duly elected Anaru Adams.

And, likewise the position of Deputy Chairperson will now being upheld by the duly elected Matthew Reweti.

Anaru and the other Trustees thanked Peter for his years of staunch support of the Trust and in particular the guidance and mahi he provided during his tenure in the role of Chair.

Peter will remain as a Trustee and will continue to support the Trust in its financial requirements and responsibilities as well as remain as the  representative Trustee Director of the Asset Holding Company.
