MACA Presentation to Members

At the Hui-a-Iwi on 21 September 2024  (following on from the Taranaki Whānui ki Te Upoko o Te Ika (Port Nicholson Block Settlement) Trust AGM, Te Ātiawa ki te Upoko o te Ika a Maui Potiki  members will be  provided the chance to hear from the MACA team on:-

• the background of why the Trust made the Takutai Moana (MACA) application;

• what a successful claim means;

• the area involved;

• the current status of the Trust’s claim;

• what are the next steps forward and why they are important; and

• how members can assist in getting the claim over the line.
