Pipitea Trustee | Deputy Chair
Matthew was born and raised in Te Whanganui-a-Tara, and has a background in marketing, communications and funding. He has worked in the social services, education, health and environmental sectors.
Matthew has a BA in Anthropolgy and Geography from Victoria University. He is currently Kaiwhakahaere Kaupapa for Katoa Connect.
Matthew is a representative for Pipitea Marae. Matthew was recently voted to the role of Deputy Chair of the Trust. His vision for the Trust is to create opportunities for rangatahi and strengthen the mauri of Te Ātiawa.
